Martin Buberl

Founder, 100x

Martin has built software for more than 25 years and scaled product and technology organizations across the United States and Europe. He knows what large teams can accomplish — and what they require: capital, coordination, and increasing distance from the work itself.

Another leadership role was the obvious next step. Martin chose a different bet.

His conviction is that AI does not merely change how software is made; it changes the company required to make it. Experience does not become less valuable when one person can do more — it becomes more leveraged. Product judgment, technical depth, and the ability to take an idea all the way to market can now be concentrated instead of distributed across an organization.

The opportunity is not simply to build faster. It is to combine the reach of an organization with the judgment and coherence of an owner-builder.

Martin moved early by design. Access to the same models will not create a lasting advantage. The durable advantage comes from knowing what to automate, where human judgment remains essential, and how to redesign work around capabilities that keep changing. Those instincts cannot be acquired from the sidelines. They are earned by shipping real products into the market.

100x exists to compound that learning while the rules are still being written. Another leadership role would have compounded what Martin already knew. 100x compounds what he is learning — and owns the value that leverage creates.
